  • What is the Swedbank Tallinn Marathon Virtual Run?

    On Swedbank Tallinn Marathon Virtual Run you can cover Marathon Combo or Virtual Kids' Race distance by running/walking between 1- 30 September, on a route of your own choice at a time convenient to you.

    Virtual Run can be covered by running, walking, or Nordic walking. 

    After completing the distance, you must confirm it by confirming your result in the start list.

  • When and where does the virtual run take place?

    Virtual Run will take place from 1- 30 September, 2025 on the track of your own choice.

  • On what distances can you participate on Swedbank Tallinn Marathon Virtual Run?

  • What is the Marathon Combo?

    Marathon Combo is a combined completion of a marathon distance 42,195 km by walking, running or Nordic Walking. Marathon Combo can be completed in parts. For example:

    • 10 x 4,22K
    • 2 x 21,1K
    • 10K + 9K + 8K + 7K + 8,2K

    Other combinations are also allowed. The shortest single distance is 4,2K.

  • Who can take part in the virtual run?

    Anyone who is healthy and whose fitness level is suitable for completion of the distance is eligible for participation in the Virtual Run.

  • What is the deadline for registering for the virtual run?

    Registration for participation in the virtual run is open in the Customer Portal until 30 September 2025.

  • Can the virtual run be completed only by running?

    You can complete the Virtual Run by running, walking, or Nordic walking. Using a car, a bicycle, or another vehicle as a mean to help to complete the distance is prohibited.

  • If I don't have a smartwatch or phone, how can I participate in the virtual run?

    In this case, you can add your result to the start list manually. After completing the distance, enter the time when you started and finished the distance.

  • How and where do I upload my result?

    Results can be uploaded as a file or entered manually near the participant’s name in the start list. Results can be entered until October 2 at 23:59.

    • Upload the results as a file: open the “Choose File” window. Upload the file that you have previously saved in a suitable format (.fit, .gpx, .pwr, tcx.). All producers of the most widespread sports watches and applications allow to download files at least in one of the above formats. Read more here
       
    • Enter the results manually: start time, completed distance, end time, and if possible, take a picture of your results so we could check the data.
  • Can I change my uploaded result?

    Yes, you can change your result in the start list until October 2, 23:59.

  • I registered my child on a Virtual Kids' Race. How can I submit the result?

    You can confirm the completion of the Virtual Kids' Race in the start list during the period of September 1 to October 2. In the start list, search for your child's name under the Virtual Kids’ Race distance and select "Add result".

  • Can the Virtual Run be completed on a treadmill?

    Yes, you can also complete the Virtual Run distance on a treadmill.

  • How do I get a virtual run bib?

    You can download the bib from the start list. If you wish, print the bib and attach it to your shirt. It is not obligatory to wear the bib when completing the distance.

  • How can I get the medal and diploma?

    Marathon Combo

    In order to recieve medal: 

    • add you result to the start list no later than October 2
    • insert the aadress while adding your result

    Medal will be sent to everyone who completed the distance no later than October 31.

    You can download a personal e-diploma from the "results" section on the Swedbank Tallinn Marathon Virtual Run website.

     

    Virtual Kids' Race

    In order to recieve medal:

    • confirm your kids participation in the start list no later than October 2
    • insert the address to the start list

    Medal will be sent to everyone who completed the distance no later than October 31.

    You can download a personal e-diploma from the "results" section on the Virtual Run website.

  • How are participants results reflected?

    The official ranking is not featured in the virtual run. The unofficial results will be published on home page.

  • What rules do I have to follow on track?

    Participants take part in the virtual run on their own responsibility. For safety considerations, all participants must observe the traffic regulations. The organiser is not responsible for harm caused to the health of the participants or for the destruction or loss of their personal property. 

    Participation in the virtual run is allowed only in accordance with all traffic regulations presently in force.

    Throwing away packaging, drinking bottles, and other rubbish in nature and on the roads and streets is strictly forbidden.

    Using a car, a bicycle, or another vehicle as a mean to help to complete the distance is prohibited. Participation in the virtual run is based on honesty and mutual respect.
